I think you will find it will work just fine for you. I'm still working out how wide to go for my L45. 72" would "cover" the wheels and clear a path wide enough for the machine. My machine has similar lifting capacity to yours, so no worries about having the power to handle it.

Post some pics in use and some reviews once you really start playing with it.

ac

Go with a 72" I doubt you will regret it.

Great looking attachment. I must say that your website is remarkable. The attention to detail with 360 degree viewing, videos with installation instructions is head-and-shoulders above the typical online dealers.
Tar Heal country is where my family came from.
I will definitely be shopping EverythingAttachments.com for my next tractor related purchase.

Good work,
Kent B.

I like the orange. I know you painted it yourself, but I wonder if EA would consider painting in the Orange, Green, or blue as an option.

Glad you like it, Kent. We try to provide you with as much info as possible and pictures/videos are worth a million words!
Customer reviews/experiences is something else I look for in my buying process and TBN is a great place to learn about that.

Currently, we're only doing the grapples in black, but we have shipped a couple attachments unpainted.
Most people don't want to deal with painting themselves(myself being one of them), however Roger did an excellent job with the build and paint job.

Will these hold up to moving rocks/boulders?
And are all the sizes made to the same specs strength wise?

That looks awfully nice. I would love to have an orange one to match my Kubota(s).

Yes, they'll hold up to that. All of the grapples are made the same strength wise except for the 50" Single Lid Grapple which is designed for small compact and subcompact tractors and only weighs 250 pounds. You can get our 54" Wicked grapple made ultra light or made from the same materials as the 60-72" models.

I got money to burn, not really but I have saved enough for a grapple FINALLY. Now I just need a "Wicked" version of a clam style root grapple. Come on guys I do not want to send my money to someone else. But I can not wait forever!!!

They're planning to start on it around the 22nd so the clam style should be in production sometime in August. I'll post all of the progression when it begins.
The holiday schedule and vacations is prolonging that project.
Hopefully you can wait for it!

Why do you want a clam style?

Once you have a price PM me and we will make a deal. I have a ton of work for it. Thanks for the update!

I like the clam style when it's done right, for tighter clamping dimensions. I particularly like the Bradco style, as it appears to have SOME forward protrusion of the lower tines usable for scooping and lifting instead of being strictly a rake, and how the top and bottom tines bypass each other for a tighter grip.

Sounds like a plan. I'll keep you and everyone else updated.

I have used both types of grapples. With a clam style you do not need to get under the load and picking from the top seems to work better with a clam. Also I have several acres that I cleared this winter before I crushed my foot and have been layed up for a couple of months. The top of the grapple will work better as a rake to clean up all the loose brush. I can set the FEL to float tip the grapple down and back up to grab loose brush etc. This does not work as well with a flat bottom style grapple.

By the way I thing a 66" grapple for your prototype would be perfect!

Just my $.02

I got a 72 incher and it's nice. I think I need to add some screen or something on the back. I don't like limbs poking through trying to scratch my tractor. In this case, I used the bottom bar on the lower jaw to break the limbs on one side. That made it easy to get in close with no limbs protruding.

That's your classic Eastern Red Cedar after it lays around for a year. Last fall I took a dozer after my place and took down thousands of them. A few were left around so now that I have a grapple, I am cleaning them up. I'm impressed with the grapple.
