It has looked like it was going to rain here since Monday, we maybe just got enough to change the driveway color for a few minutes and that's it so far. Hoping tonight or tomorrow we finally get some significant rainfall. The ground (black clay) at the shop driveway has dropped about 4 inches.

Woke up Wednesday to a good slow rain. Had a 4 hour meeting going over a bunch of public documents looking for open meeting violations on a slimy city council. So all in all a really good day.

Big storms last night, 60 mph wind, 4"-5" of rain. Several limbs and one dead tree down as a result.

Got good rain lately. Most of the heavier stuff hit south of us, closer to @K5lwq or @EddieWalker .

We did get about 3” here with no damage. Very thankful indeed! My brother in Conroe said it went all around his place. He did not see a drop.

We got rain this morning also. Numerous times in the past, we watch on radar how the stroms go around us too. At least Montgomery County lifted our burn ban. I had two big roaring fires last week.

3/8" here Sunday evening I think it was. Just enough to green up the green grass .

The brown grass is still brown and the cracks are getting wider and deeper. We need a good 3-8 inches of rain around here.
