So we're have another two bit politician?:laughing::laughing::D;);)

In the last two weeks I have dumb my gauge twice because it was full.. 6 inches each time.. yesterday I dumbed it for the third time..but it was only half full.. I felt somewhat dispointed.. So the math is 2 x 2x + .5x = 7 days of rain.. plus yesterday.:confused3:. Lou

I understand completely Lou. We got another _ inches of rain today for a 9 day total of _ inches.

So as I was at Northern Tool yesterday to pick up an ATV weed sprayer, I saw this bad boy near the check out. With these terrific rains we have been getting, I had to have it! Over 2 feet long and that orange floating disk should be visible for miles! Just a little obnoxious, which I like as well...

We've now had just under 10" of rain since latest round started on August 13th. Pastures squishy again!

I drove into Houston yesterday and also stopped by the Northern Tool on SW Freeway for some pressure washer parts. Didn't see the rain gauge but it looks interesting, how much are they?

Yep, everything is squishy. Now the sun will really cook up the humidity!

$10 +/- It was at the little area right before the check out. The "impulse buy" section... I fell for it!

I have the same one, it works great.

Glad to hear it! I just need to find a nice spot for it to mount now.

Brandi, I had an appointment Monday with the cardiologist and everything checked out just fine. I don't like the side effects of the statins (some arm and shoulder pains), but he thinks I should keep taking them, so I guess I will. But overall, I reckon I'm doing as well as could be expected for an old man.

Glad to hear that. Keep hanging in there and keep "statin" on.
