Well I got my hay fields cut.. found a piece of steel, I think,, the cutter sent it thru the passage door,, I thought someone took a shot at me for cutting on Sunday.. Got hold of Montana tractor dealer in Oklahoma to see what it going to cost to replace it.. 1185 plus 200 dollars shipping,, and I have to install it and that is only the glass.. you recon they are making a profit?.. Looks like I am going into the window business..lol.. but I will use Plexiglas.. quarter inch thick, 36 by 60 long.. around 122 dollars,, I will build two of them.. one for each side.. they are just alike,,
I am going to pull the good one off on the driver side and save it for a pattern,, if anyone has did this, let me know.. I am thinking I got three chances before I start to losing money.. lol.. Lou

Lou, try using a heat gun or strong hair dryer to practice bending some lexan polycarbonate sheets. If the glass is flat, just ignore my previous sentence. Not sure if it will keep the next projectile out or not. I order mine from ben@interstateplastics.com email him and ask for a quote. Tell him Kyle from Giddings recommended him.

I mowed, edged, and trimmed our yard and the one next door today for the final mowing of the summer.

Yeah, I'll still be mowing, but my calendar says tomorrow is officially the first day of autumn, so summer's over.:D

Things may be looking up. Right now they are predicting some rain for the end of the week. The Burn Ban is still in effect and needs to be. We've been lucky and everything seems to be staying calm.

We will continue to Pray for Rain......we need some relief.
