Brandi may need get some red paint on that don't you think
Jim,
I am not sure if this is a keeper. If I keep it........it will be RED. If I sell it, I'll paint it the same color.
Also, aren't we in the wrong thread? I thought we got into the spring/summer thread around the 21st of March.
hugs, Brandi

Brandi-- Nice looking plow in any color. Raining here this morning and with the snow melt it will be a while before it will dry out enough do much in the dirt. More rain most of this week, but we'll always take what rain the Lord gives us. But MUD Season will be here for a while.

To All Texans everywhere: Tomorrow is March 2nd..............HAPPY TEXAS INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!

God Bless Texas and God Bless Sam Houston(it's the anniversary of his birthday too).

Charlie
Charlie,
Thanks, it really is a nice color. Yes, it is gonna be a lazy, tinker in the barn day. All rain is welcome!
hugs, Brandi

Anyone see any snakes. I'm on the lookout, but either the ground is too cold, or Whipper is taking care of them at night.

Bird everyone was on Spring Break last week or this week. However, if it starts snowing we will have to revert back to the Fall/Winter Thread.

When I was in high school there was no spring break only a long weekend during Easter.

Don, do you have worm snakes down there? I was raking grass clippings in the yard and raked up 2 of them day before yesterday. We usually only see 2 or 3 each summer.

A cousin at Fairfield said he and his wife were surprised to see a hawk snatch up a snake that was swimming across their little pond a few days ago.

Brandi, apparently worm snakes are fairly common; harmless little snakes that supposedly go up to 13" in length, though I don't think I've ever seen one more than half that. And there's quite a number of different ones. You can find a lot about them via Google.com or Bing.com with pictures.

Bird,
I googled them after asking that question. Blind Snakes are what they are called, with worm snakes a nick name. I might have seen them before and dismissed them as large earth worms, which we have lots of here.

We've changed the name of the Place to "Mud Puddle Ranch". Just showing signs of drying out, then some rain yesterday and again this morning. 60% chance for the rest of the day and through Sunday. We also have a Flash Flood Watch for most of today and it is all run-off.

I will be a while till we can get out in the garden. So much for an early start. Cabin Fever is setting in and I gave up Scotch for Lent.
