I tend to run behind the pack in technology. I still have a cell flip phone. It has a camera, but is first generation. I can get online with it, but have that dormant. To me, it is a phone. I only use texts when cell service is out, like during a hurricane. When my power goes out, it is my land line I use to call the electric company,

I use my cell phone so little that I changed to a prepaid cell phone and had texting blocked so I wouldn't have to pay for advertising that was sent to me on it. We use cordless landline phones at home, but we have one phone instrument that is not cordless to use during power outages. In fact, I'm not sure it's ever been used for anything except to report power outages.

I hope you don't mind this northern boy chiming in.

Thanks Bird:) That is an honor.
I kinda left/lost my heart in Texas when they said I couldn't be a jet jock many eons ago. One of my eyes didn't quite make the grade. No waivers or modern marvel surgeries back then. It all worked out for the best and I have had a good life.:D

Lou, I cant understand a word you're say'n when your sobor!!:D You re going to have to work on that!!

I also use an older flip phone, old I guess since I have used it for 3 years. Does what I need so far, but I can see where some apps may be nice.

Small showers just North and West of me, maybe I will get lucky before I leave for work.

I had a shower that was a deck-wetter. That's about the extent of it. I guess it was enough to settle the dust.

Bird,
Yes, I use cordless phones around the house also. The corded phone is on my bedside table.

Lou,
Can you hear me now? You're a hoot and a half.

Dennis,
My phone is way older than yours. It's so old, I don't remember when I bought it.
hugs, Brandi
