See if your grandson can identify these apple varieties while their still on the tree

I only see a 'pear' of apples and I'm pretty sure my grandson would say they are red apples. How did we do?

The deer breached the deer net fence last night. Actually pawed a hole in it and there is some netting missing so some crazy deer is probably wearing it on his hoof.:confused3:
Nothing in there but one row of sweet potatoes, but we have some crazy deer around here. Lots of holes in the ground
from the Chicada Killer Wasps. We saw 2 flying around while fixing the fence.
We have one sweet potato vine with one bloom on it. These are the slips we started from last years potatoes.
I have never seen a sweet tater bloom in our gardens before. Wonder if this one vine is special and has caused all the excess rain around here this summer? We are actually about 1.5" short for the year but it always averages out by the end of the year.

Foreman, I sure appreciate the offer and would certainly take you up on it, but I realized it also has next weeks schedule in it so I have to get it before Sunday morning! "And the hits just keep on coming":laughing:

BTW, how much longer does your wife have left in school? She going for LVN,RN? My wife is an LVN and thinking of getting the transitional to RN since she is an ADON now. My daughter graduates Dec 6th Whoot!

Never heard of Kieffer, but it sure looks like a pear. Is it a type of pear? Your red delicious looks decidedly more round than the ones I see in the store, but the Jonathan (Isn't it Jonathan instead of Johnathon, or Jonathon?) is one I should have known. See, I'm a much better spelling checker than I am an apple type guesser.

Sonic?? Lou, you sure do think mighty highly of that girl!! I think they even require you to wear shoes in that place now!!:laughing: I guess the "bright side" is you only have to "dress up" for this evening

I was out trying the neeked rain dance just now, a fella stopped and threw 50 cents at me?? said he felt sorry for me since he just tipped some girl south of Weatherford $20!! I just dont have the "moves":laughing:

A Kieffer pear is picked while still hard and ripened inside for canning or cooking. It is not for eating raw.
Your right about the Jonathan apple spelling. The TBN reply thing has everything but the kitchen sink and a spell checker.
