NOAA now says, "Severe T-storms expected, from a line Jacksboro to Lampasas", and Palo Pinto, Parker, Wise and Denton Counties are included.

Fasten yoiur seatbelts folks, it might be another bumpy ride!

Our forecast for tomorrow is a high of 94, so our A/C will probably be on for the next 4 or 5 months. I don't mind being outside in the heat too much, as long as I can come in and shower and sleep cool.

NWS still doesn't show any rain expected in Denton, although the radar makes it look like a possibility, and the clouds here do, too.

Looking at the radar, Western and jinman should be getting some showers. The heavier stuff is still west of y'all, but appears to be building slowly in intensity.

I finally ordered a FoodSaver V3880. It was delivered a couple of days ago and I needed to use it just to make sure it worked. So . . . awhile back I noticed ears of corn at Walmart for 50 cents each, then later 38 cents each, and today 22 cents each, so I finally bought a few; don't know yet how good they'll taste, but they look good. And the new FoodSaver does work, at least.

Bird; I have been thinking about one of those. Let me know how you like it, after you have used it a bit. May need to get one when the garden starts coming in good!

We bought one several years ago as a gift for a daughter and son-in-law and had some doubts about it being worthwhile. Our daughter says she had some doubts, too, when they first got it, but says they sure use it a lot now. We've been using the Ziplock vacuum bags and little hand pump. That works pretty well if what you want to seal is the right shape and size, but sometimes it just isn't.

And as with so many products in this day and age, there are so many different models, it's hard to decide which one to buy. I really think a cheaper model should be good enough, but I've sometimes regretted buying too cheap, and they do have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee, during which time you can return it for exchange or refund.

I'd like to have some of Graham's rain, to add to my stock tank, but sure hope the "super cells" do not form!

Well...NOAA radar shows tornado, but nothing on the news???? I dont need the rain "that" bad:laughing: I'll use Jim's well if it comes to that.

Storm is intensifying.

Well, the radar looks like some of you should be getting a decent shower. So far, it appears the light rain is as far south as I-20. Nothing here yet.
