Kyle; I'd take those steps, but won't have any way of getting them and hauling them. I won't have any hauling capacity when I am in Austin in 2 weeks, or I'd ask if you could bring them there. I hate to see something useful stuck in a burn pile.

That's why we have a 2500 HD GMC.:p
Them darn Ferds never would haul nothin. Lousy alternators too boot.:D

Ron- Your horse looks a lot like mine.......FAT.

Charlie

Charlie,
Your right.
Here's what she looked like the day we brought her home as a yearling.
We don't allow skinny around here, so it didn't take long for her to get a crease..
You know what they say about dogs and their owners,
looking alike.
I wonder if that applies to horses and their owners as well?

 If I didn't have the insert in the bed of my truck, it would be a different story. And I am NOT dragging a trailer down there. No room in the parking lot for it, and I hate fighting traffic with it, on the way home, because I KNOW there will be traffic and construction BOTH!

Ya know what they say, pacerron, "There's one in every crowd!" :D

I think you're right Ron. Every thing on the place leans to Fat & Sassy.

Yep, FG19

You know what they say:
"If you think you can, OR, if you think you can't, You're RIGHT!"

Not sure what type of insert your talking about?
I've had tool compartments across the front 3rd of PU beds that made it nasty to haul big stuff, but the step unit
could be loaded upside down on the top step and it wouldn't need much room in the bed if strapped properly. They are hollow and the back is open, so they also make a handy shelter to put fly spray, wipe, tack, leads and crops temporarily, and a big water jug out of the sun. Our dog likes to lay under there out of the sun while supervising the training session.:D

pacerron; The insert extends above the sides of the bed by 6 inches, all the way around, and to where the tailgate would be, and is solid topped. It is full of compartments, so no real rearranging, to make room, as compartments are fixed and rigid. And, given it *should* be a day off, and I will be dealing with travel and traffic and construction, I am too darn lazy to deal with the trailer. And, having been to the location, back in January, they'd make me leave, without the documents I would need, and without a refund, if I tried to park it in their lot. It isn't like there is a place such as Target or Walmart next door, where space isn't an issue. My truck with even the small trailer behind it would take up half of the locations parking.

So, for this trip, I can't, and won't! :D :p
