Well, I'm not talking about Scott or Texas John, but some of you (you know who you are) were talking about multi-inch rainfall amounts when we folks in N. Texas couldn't get much more than a picture of too much rain in San Antonio on the 10 PM news. All that considered, I feel darn lucky to get this terrific rainfall in mid-June, and for which I am eternally thankful.

While my garden is sooo wet, I managed to find a job I could do. I put up my 40% shadecloth. It was a snap to put up using 6' bamboo poles and twist ties to my netting and support cord. Here are a couple of pictures:

Really like the looks of your Tomato-shade. Happy Anniversary and many more Jinman.

May you have fair winds and following seas.

So, I'm at the bottom of the rainfall chart... .7 inch last night...I'll take it but would appreciate some of you folks who have gotten more if you could share a tad with me:)

Well according to Lou's post and the Supreme Court ruling you can't cross the border and get any water from me ... However I didn't see where I can't load up cross the border and bring you some .. Or would that be water boot leggin?

Would love to have you visit:thumbsup: And if you were to bring water to boot or in your boot, I'd consider it a bountiful, beautiful blue river booty!

Y'all come, 'ya here yet?

I can understand Oklahoma gettin' a bit cranky about us coming over the state line and taking their water. I also can see Texas getting cranky because the 'floods' of people taking their dollars and spending them at WinStar, Choctaw, and various other casinos in Oklahoma and Louisiana. I'd love to plug that leak by opening a casino at Lone Star Park like Harrahs has done at Louisiana Downs. Heck, I'd even like to see a casino on I-35, I-45, and I-20 just inside the Texas state line. That would 'dry up' some cash leaks. What do you think?

We got out in the garden early this morning when the dew was heavy, but it was still cool. We picked a bunch of beans and some other stuff too. Here's some photos of this morning's veggie haul. My breakfast, lunch, and dinner diet now contains tomatoes.:licking:

Fine looking haul. In fact there's enough right to there to be complete meals for at least a couple of days.
