I'm up to just over 5 hours on my machine. Not much, I know...real job and inclement weather (rain and low temperatures, not tractor weather) have kept it in the garage.
I put it in the garage, the day i got it, at 1.5 hours. Two days later, I took it to over 3 hours, playing around and moving stuff from the garage to the shed.
Yesterday, I did my first small project. I cut a small locust last spring and decided to dig it out. I have summarily destroyed all the grass within two feet of the stump, but it's out, now! I was a little disappointed in the digging power compared to another BX25 I have played on. Some of that is likely the roots, other is the operator. The rest might be low PSI in the PRV. See below.
After about 20 minutes, I had to go get the grease gun. One of the joints started squeaking, so I filled it up, more. They were all already filled, to where I could see some coming out, but this joint was quickly ready for more. It was the joint on the bottom of the boom. I hit them all, again, and found a few took a few squeezes, before I could see movement.

I then took the opportunity to remove the BH and FEL. It actually went quite well. I followed the manual, but made some modifications, as necessary. Trick is to get the pins and mounts lined up, so nothing is pinched. I about ruined a hydraulic line, but realized it had snuck into a bad spot before I proceeded. It was trying to get pinched on the hooks that hold the BH on.
The tractor sure does handle well, without the extra 1,000 pounds! Very nimble and I look forward to getting my MMM.
While I had everything off, I tested the PRV using the first coupler. I made a tester out of a 36" hose ($9, locally) , and a gauge ($11, eBay), with a coupler (less than $6, eBay) with a F>F joint ($3, locally), and bought some liquid stuff to use in place of teflon tape ($6, locally). The kit worked great. I showed 1,660 PSI at 3,000 RPM; done a few times-all same results. This means I need to get some shims. This sucks since I don't have a Kubota dealer, close. Shims are cheap, shipping is not. I'm assuming I could use a proper sized washer, can't think of any problems that might bring, unless the washer isn't cut perfectly flat (and the shims are).
I should need 0.3" worth of shims. If 0.1" = 40 PSI, 120 PSI would get me to 1,780; that's **** close to the 1,778 PSI it's rated at.
I then decided to wash my tractor. I used my Generac pressure washer and that was a mistake. Small spatterings of grease spread everywhere. Looks like it's hand washing, from now on.
