Thanks. I will go this weekend and see what they have. I checked with my dealer up here, and they use straps!! I did not like that idea too well because I have seen them haul pretty big tractors with only one or two straps attached. I thought since they used straps, they might have some attaching chain and binders that they had pre-cut I could buy. No such luck, so to Asheville I go.

Don't take the accusation of risking the lives of others too seriously. I've been accused of the same thing and found it best to let those comments, once shown to be unfounded, fall off like water from a duck's butt.

The only safe thing to do is stay home and that is not an option. Perhaps more people die on the road from drunk drivers than from tractors falling off of trailers.

I am glad to see your switching to chain and retiring the decayed straps.
