Broke a hanger bracket on my 6' MMM....... B3200 has 400 hours & most of that is mowing, so who knows how I managed to break a weld on steel plate. Dealer wants $120 for a new bracket & of course they'd have to order it...... I think I'll see if it can be re-welded.......

If you weren’t so far I’d say bring it over and I’ll weld it. Worst case send it to me in a flat rate shipping box and I’ll send it back in a day or two. Hopefully someone up there would do it though. Easy fix though

Thanks Brett! I've got a local welder that does good work at a reasonable price but I couldn't catch him in his shop today........

yep - looks like it got a bad factory weld, at least it should be an easy and fairly inexpensive fix.

Yuuup........ What little welding I've done (ie stick/gas in HS circa 1970) I was pretty sure the horizontal weld was bad.....

Should be an easy re-weld. I doubt you'll need to mow the lawn for a few weeks, huh?

Probably cost you as much for a can of matching paint as for the welding.

That is REALLY cheap as far as parts go. Any reasonably good welder can make that BETTER then new.
