You need to talk to Paul Short (he was a member here, I don't know anymore) in Newfoundland, Canada, he has suicide knobs for sale.
Specialty Repairs Custom Mods

I put one on my ride-on mower. He was in the Kubota forums mostly.
Me too... very nice graphics on the knob courtesy of his wife Kathy... A major improvement to productivity especially working when lots of turning is involved.

Or.....is that just a myth? See if YOUR state has any statutes against knobs:

Suicide Knob - State Laws for Steering Wheel Knobs

Nice link/page, thanks! Looks like these are legal most everywhere. Anyone have a knob on their street vehicle? I do remember a few years back, borrowing a 4-door long-bed dually diesel Dodge pickup that had a spinner and it was useful because the thing felt as long as a bus. :dumptruck:

I've had the TSC "Deluxe Wheel Spinner" on each of my four tractors for several years. Highly recommend it. $15. It's branded as County Line for TSC, but made by SpeeCo. Accommodates different thicknesses of steering wheels. As others have said, I wouldn't be without a spinner on a CUT. Amazing how much it increases productivity. Especially with quick loader and grapple work, or maneuvering in tight places.

Here's the TSC link, and a pic.

Way back in the mid 70's I scrounged up a spinner for my 52 Chevy, if I recall the steering wheel was too skinny and it wouldn't tighten properly so I didn't use it. It somehow managed to stay with me through the intervening years like a lot of interesting etcetera is wont to, and found a home on my forklift. It was old when I got it, probably from the 60's, it has a couple of dice that rattle around under a (formerly) clear dome, like this example.

For you that don’t like a knob on the wheel ALL the time , you can get ones that flip down out of the way. IMG_1548.jpg
