IMHO it's your E-free gas doing that for ya.
All I use on OPE and boat. Never a issue with it.
Today's prices since going up this year even higher is now 4.79 a gal.
Must be nice. 4.79 here up .30 from last year.90 octane "REC GAS" e-free is 3.49 at local Circle K. Sometimes they run out and I go to a BP station that has 89 e-free. They are usually .20-.30 higher
How do you tell if it's e-free when at the pump to buy? I thought of this today as I was filling up my truck at Chevron, looked all over the pump and saw nothing but the octane ratings. The average guy just doesn't have much choice these days. I know that aviation gas is supposed to be e-free but it's hard to find where to buy that too? (as an average joe buyer). How to tell your Efree is really efree and no percentage of ethanol in it. It will look like this after a quick test.
I do this ob every batch I buy.
