Is there a standard/conventional inside width of a SSQA implement receiver? Specifically the inside width of the angled top lip that hangs on the loader arms.

If so - what is that number?

if "sorta kinda, but not really" - what is the "range"?

Pretty sure it’s 45”

This should give you all the dimensions, although some manufactures have some variations.

It appears the answer is the "sorta kinda, but not really" version. Thats what I figured.

The SAE J2513 standard and what appears, perhaps, to be european or asian is 1131mm. This translates to 44.5".

The dimensions @TMGT references show 45".

So it appears I got an implement built to SAE J2513 and I have a machine that is built to the other. Thats wonderful. I wont modify a new machine, but it appears some cutting and welding is on the agenda for the implement.

What's the current width of your QA on the machine?

Unfortunately, that is not what an implement/adpter is that I got. It is the 1131mm version and my loader arms dont clear it. I can post a more exact "as meaaured" figure later. But the issue is there is about 1/4" of no-go. I use a large clamp to pull the loader arms to squeeze it to fit - I dont want to keep doing that.

I was swapping front end equipment this afternoon so I did some measuring. Aside from being still pretty cold (temp in the teens) we had a nice day here.

First up is my fork set.

This measures about 45-1/8". This is a Land Pride fork set.

Next is the bucket.

20260207_164809.jpg

This measures about 45-1/16".

Next is the grapple. This one I had trouble getting the tape to cooperare for the measurement.

20260207_164936.jpg

This comes out to about 45-1/2".

Next is the loader arms on the tractor that mate to the SSQA receivers on the implements.

20260207_163918.jpg

This measures about 44-5/8". See more detail below regarding this number and the associated clearance.

Next is the SSQA to 3pt adapter we have.

20260207_163855.jpg

This measures right about 44-1/2".

When I try to hook up to this adapter this is the result:

Left side -

Right side -

So for now what I do is squeeze the loader with a large bar clamp:

That gives me just enough "squeeze" to clear the adapter and connect:

Needless to say, the clamp method on the loader like this is a pain in the butt. But it works.

When the weather warms Ill cut the sides of the adapter pate and lay more metal over that to open up another 1/4" on each side (1/2" total).

My gut tells me much less than 3/8" clearance total would make mating the loader arms unnecessarily difficult.

Just take your mini grinder and grind off a little steel off of each edge if you want to get it done right now.

Or if you have a bottle jack and length of pipe, use it to permanently spread the adapter.

It’s not a big deal that your SSQA plate on your loader fits tightly into your SSQA attachments. In fact, a little wiggle room is desirable to make attaching less frustrating.
I’d rather my SSQA plate was 1/2” smaller than my attachments than a snug fit. That would drive you crazy.

This is why I like Euro Attach much better. There’s a bit more “wiggle room” when attaching.

I see your SSQA attachment plate has plenty of spare steel on the edges to grind down.

I prefer the Global attachment that I have on my tractor. That SS attachment has always looked cheesy to me. I have an American made adapter from global to SS that works pretty well but I try to avoid SS at all costs.

Aren't the global more for Utility and bigger tractors?

I've never seen them on SCUT or CUT sized tractors ...

Lot less common on smaller gear for sure.
But you can get a smaller tractor with Euro/Global if you order it that way.

I have an adapter, but after you use an adapter, it still doesn’t feel like a direct Euro/Global attach, either.

Once you have it, you’ll never want to go back.

Its a brand new tractor. I am not modifying it.

The SSQA to 3pt adapter is a cheap one from Ebay. I'd be much more inclined to modify that and open up those sides. The adapter plate is made from 1/4" thick steel. So if I cut out the 2 sides and laid more metal over them, the same 1/4" thickness, then by way of cutting out those 2x 1/4" plate sides where the loader arms swing up through that would give me 1/2" and get me right back to 45". That seems like sound logic to me.

Bold added for clarity.

That is the whole issue - I don't have any with the SSQA to 3pt adapter. That is what started this thread - to find out what the measurement should be. And that answer is it could be somewhere around 45" or somewhere around 44.5"(1131mm). The adapter appears to be the 1131mm version and my tractor appears to mate to the 45" one.

I am not concerned about having room on the other implements (all Kubotas - Land Pride is Kubota). That is what I need to get to with the SSQA to 3pt adapter. That will solve my issue.

You only need to cut one side of your SSQA 3PT plate and add 3/8 to 1/2". Or you can just cut the top weld where the lip of the plate is and then bend the sides out a bit, then reweld the side to the top plate.

It's the aftermarket adapter plate "build issue" and there is enough L-R movement in the pin attach slots so you only need to cut one side.

Sounds like the adapter might be some kind of low-end, off shore adapter, kinda slapped together?
Not accusing you of being cheap.
I bought a cheap adapter and knew on the first day it was junk. Bought an HLA adapter and everything was fine
