snowblowers

/ snowblowers #21
I have a 80's commercial Ariens 36" and a ten year old Yardman 24". The ariens is just to big and heavy for my liking so I leave it at the apartment. The Yardman though is my favorite and was bought last min from a cash strapped friend. I did alot of shopping this winter for another new 28" but I really dont think I want a new snowblower that is cluttered with new options that will just break. I'm going to look for a basic MTD design that around ten years old.

No doubt both good snowblowers. I'll throw one in on you guys , I have a 29" , 9 horse Sears Craftsman's. It has been a great snowblower, never had an issue with it, but I do take care of it, grease , new plug every year, touch up paint and syn oil oil 2 x's a year change. I live in the country and make paths on back lawn for dogs and to bird feeders, never even broke a shear pin until this year,( lots of ice and roof ice this year). I have had this blower about 8 years and would definitely buy an other.

I have an old 1977 Ariens I bought at a surplus sale about 10 years ago, replace a few worn parts in it every year but that old 6 hp Tech motor still starts with 1 pull.

Second choice would be Airens pro (?) series
