Snow wing

Yes, I used about 5 links of chain between the cylinder and the wing. This way I can set the down position and let it float up from there. The wing mostly is used to push the snow into the ditch/bushes which is lower than the driveway. If I used a float position it would drop down and start fetching up on bricks and concrete. Our driveway was made from roughly 4000 ton of brick and concrete product rejects and some of them still protrude through the edge of the road even after twenty plus years.

I have a start on making a wing. But have been in delay waiting for my fabricator to get back at it. Anxious to get it finished, and thought it would be done by now. Am envious of Steve Millers.

With the way you are set up I would be concerned about the lateral forces being applied to your blower and 3ph. If you look at a grader or truck that has a wing plow it is always mounted in the rear to a solid point, with springs. Good idea though.

Finished getting the wing plow fabricated for my Deere 4300 yesterday. It works great.

Attaches with just two pins and a short chain to hook it up, on either the right side or left side. Attaches to the FEL post and to the draw bar. Lifts with the 3 ph arms.

Great looking wing,I'm green with envy!
Looks to be a very strong set up on your wing arms.
You might, if you haven't already done it; cut a angle on the point of the wing
just in case it hits something to make it dig in. After plowing for 23 years
and seeing what happens when the point digs,it might save you a headache or two.
