Snow Attachments snow removal

hey guys i was just wondering if there was a better way to keep snow from caking up on my blade and in my bucket than waxing? we are finally expecting some snow here in md.

Try spraying it with a mixture of diesel fuel and oil. I tried this under my mower this past summer and had good results. I haven't tried this for snow, but I will......

I heard kerosene works well...but..

Do you scape and prime or paint your bucket and plow before each snow plowing season,for that helps.

Snow in MD??? None here in ME--Not yet anyway!

Try letting the blade and/or bucket get to the same temp as the ambient temp. I do this with my snowplows (for the trucks) and work well. Also keeping the surface very smooth by having fresh paint at the begining of the season.

I live in NW Montana. Lots of snow and very cold temps. I had considered using a spray-on wax, but thought I would try spraying WD40 on my rear blade, rear snowthrower, and FEL this winter. After about a month, and several uses, it is still working. Makes all the difference.
