Have high hopes on this working as expected. Others on the net have done this, they are all experimental. Lots of sittn and thinkin involved, trying to eliminate problems before I build them in.

Yup; been there done that.

I know the feeling. Lots of excitement and trepidation. Hoping all will work as planned but not sure if there is something that got missed. Hope you get it right the first time but if not, there will be some more sittn and thinkin involved before the inevitable success.

Looking forward to the first trial (hopefully with great success).

We got 4" yesterday and now it's turned cold. Not nearly enough to plow but everything looks very nice in a new coat of white. It's been a very dry summer here. Water level in my spring is lowest it's ever been.

2009 - I bought my new Kubota M6040. While at the dealers - a new M7040 was being prepared with a front mount blower. It was powered off the rear PTO. It was a very expensive setup. Being prepared for the local school district. They had been unable to convince the school district that a hydraulic powered front blower would be an easier choice. I've always wondered how that tractor and setup eventually worked.

I can feel it getting closer. A couple of pics. The top brace had to be welded in position, the angle braces will also be welded in position to keep things aligned . Unfortunately the tractor does not fit in the garage I use for a shop. Main quonset with floor is not 220 wired, smaller one is wired but packed full. Too much of a pain to move stuff out for a couple of welds. I try to plan for as little outside work as possible, sometimes it becomes neccessary though. Once everthing is aligned and securely tacked , the whole thing comes off with three bolts and a pin for final welding. Still have loader function to put it into the garage. Then I can pull it out, position it, back up and lift into place. The draw bar goes through and acts as a guide. The draw bar pin gets removed and is replaced by a 1" bolt through the 1x2 3/4 main mount on the chain case. Push a cheater on the front pto, lift and block the assembly up and install two bolts. I still have eight inches of clearance underneath. Hope my rambling makes sense.

Sure does and very nice workmanship. Even more impressive since the welding is being done outside in the snow.

This is awesome and I can't wait to see it in action.

Maybe I was not clear, just a couple of welds have to be done outside. The joy of still having the loader, I can move things into the garage for welding, take it out for fitting and thinkin, put it back in for more welding. I have a home built wood stove in the garage.
