I'm having a barn built and will use it for a couple years without a concrete floor. I would like to pour a floor eventually. My question is how should I have the sliding doors made down at the bottom in terms of length. What are the different options of door bottom to concrete floor cooperation?

Since your long term plan is to pour a concrete floor sometime in the future, why not set up your door for the concrete? Install a 8 or 10 inch concrete curb across the door opening and install the lower door tracks, or whatever you plan to use. When you are ready to do the floor, all you have to do is fill in behind the curbs. Just a thought.

Single or double doors? Most doors would be 1 inch below floor. Some may
like bottom rails tracks on doors that set up in floor are out side. I would talk
with your contractor.Good luck. Framer.
