Well, I asked about bypassing the neutral start requirement and received several responses why I shouldn't, but no responses to how. All inputs and possible safety issues appreciated, thank you.
My initial thought was to disable this feature because of the difficultly I often experience shifting into neutral in order to start the tractor. It is often difficult to move the lever into a neutral position to start the engine. I do not like forcing this to go into position and will do whatever to get it into the proper gear position when the engine is running. But what to do when I have to force it into neutral just to start the engine?

So, Ck2610 here, but basically apples to apples. I had every intention of disabling the neutral and seat safety at first. Until, our German Shepard tried to jump up, as I was getting down, and he hit the forward peddle, enough the tractor moved forward about 8", as i was one foot on, one foot off.

It kinda an annoying safety feature, but after that, I thought, probably better leave it intact. Now, im not saying dont do it, just why I chose to not do it.

So, on the sticky H-N-M-N-L; even at 210 hours, mine still can be a pain. Now, rather then force it, while in neutral, if it doesnt want to move to medium, just bumping the F peddle, often allows it to go in easily. Kinda annoying, extra step, but if your having trouble...

Some tractors are picky about clutch adjustment when the engine is not running, which makes shifting in/out of gear draggy-so-to-speak. They seem to shift normally when running though. a friends Kubota HST comes to mind.
