Screw drive garden tractor

one issue I could use some advise on is this.... now that I spun the trans/diff...it is being driven 'backwards'. as in the input shaft is spinning the wrong way. now for me this is not a problem because it works out with my screw direction...but... is this going to hurt the trans? driving on the backside of the gears? are they all straight cut gears in this trans????

It wouldn't seem like it would. I've torn apart 2 last year and if I remember right it was just strait gearing
