That is a nice chart. If you could print it on a something clear you could look right through it to determine the grade/ angle. Now I wonder if there is a App for that?

Just print it on a clear plastic sheet. The white won't print.

Like a sheet protector?

That might work. Be careful, as it will take longer for the ink to dry. It won't soak in.

The sheets I've seen made for printing on have a very slight satin finish.

I have similar apps on my android stuff. I have acutally used them in a pinch. I was thinking it would be nice if you could hold the phone up, camera be on with a overlay of the chart BCP posted. The phone could tell you when you were holding it level like the level apps do. I really got this thread off track.

the App for stability with that kind of a grade would be a Ventrac (or Steiner)... probably a smaller unit would be suitable for the area that you are covering. I understand the % and degrees issue, but really can't visualize the property. I believe that it kinda depends if you are going up & down or across and back.

Ventrac's - I like them :)

How much does the Ventrac app cost?:) It would seem to me that a 30% grade ain't that steep, and most anything will handle that. Especially if we are just talking mowing, and not carting round bales around with a loader.

A Kubota BX will handle 30* easily up and down. 30* about the limit for it going across.

Read your owners book, you won't get enough oil feed.
