remote fitting type

I have added a Kioti DK55 (2005) to the "tractor collection". All the remote hyd. outlets on my Kubota's use ISO hyd. fittings (also known as "new pioneer") I just attempted to hook one into the Kioti outlets and it is a no go. The owners manuel says to contact my dealer for fittings. The nearest dealer is 90 miles away. TSC is 10 miles, can anyone tell me what style male fitting I need?

I have a dk55 and the remotes are the pioneer type you describe. Make sure the pressure is off on the hydraulics. I have 2 sets of remotes, and I can only think some PO may have changed them to old john deere or some other. The TSC fittings would fit I would think.

I agree, both my Kioti's have had standard Pioneer half inch fittings for the rear remotes and FEL.

I wonder if one side of the systems you are trying to connect is still pressurized. I presume you know how to depressurize in the field with cloth and hammer for the male or cloth and screwdriver plus hammer for the female connectors. Alternative is to unscrew the fittings to relieve pressure and try again.

If you are referring to the quick connects, I think there are two kinds one with just a ball, and one with the ball with a little tit on it. The kioti ones are the ones with the tit on them. Not sure of the exact names for them, but I went trough this when I got a 3pt log splitter.

They are standard just like your other orange.
Maybe your Kioti doesn't like when your sticking Kubota things in it!

The proper name is "poppet"

My fault, as Mr. Wallace said, with the Kubota's you just "stick it in"(it is a quick connect and a break away safety if you forget to unhook the hoses

) the Kioti is not near as "loose & easy" of a lady...errr tractor.

I found out I had to reach around and pull the collar back like an air chuck then stab the fitting in.

I have seen 3 ISO standards on compact tractors....all are unique and not
compatible with others. It seems *all* major makers make all 3 types,
including Pioneer/Parker.

My Kioti and Bobcat use ISO-7241-1 series A

My JD uses ISO-7241-1 series B

So-called Agricultural QDs are ISO-5675 & look like ISO-A, but have a ball for the poppet valve, instead of the pointed poppet.

What is Kubota using today...anyone know?

I posted this elsewhere, but it really needs to be posted in some kind of
reference zone.
