Question regarding backblading

/ Question regarding backblading #11
I get anxious to be out there in the snow. The first couple times I plow - I reverse the blade. Then when its rock hard - swing it around and go like the wind.

I have to be somewhat mindful in a couple areas of the driveway. Out about 2-3 feet beyond the driving surface is the edge and it drops off about ten feet. I will leave a foot and a half wide berm in those spots. Idea being - it just might, some day, deflect an unsuspecting visitor as they motor down my driveway.

But unless we really get dumped upon - which I can only remember happening once in 36 years - the first couple snows will be left to get packed down for a hard surface.
