i'll just throw this out there and see what you guys think...
"theoretically", as long as no one enters or leaves the pool and becomes the path of least resistance to ground, they should all be up to the same potential as the outlet strip and no one should get shocked. does that sound right? kind of like the guys who equilize their potential when working on high voltage power lines.
not to say it isn't extremely dangerous. a small hole in the pool or weak spot in the plastic and you could be toast. you're basically betting your life on a 4 mil piece of plastic pool liner.
