If you are going to drape hot electrical wires through a pool, be sure to keep them afloat with a pair of flip flops.

Is that for real? How stupid can some people be?

I had to save that picture to my folder of funny pictures. I can't believe that it's for real, but they sure went to allot of detail to make it look that way.

Is that an electric grill on the table that the electric cord is being used for?

Don't worry, it's all pluged into a GFCI. (yeah, right) :)

looks like they are in a country that runs on 220, the plugs look like the ones in Argentina (220VAC)

Whether real or staged - I don't know - but kinda funny. Also, thought it was odd - house looks a little fancy - so the $150 Wal-Mart pool seems a bit out of place as well.

i'll just throw this out there and see what you guys think...

"theoretically", as long as no one enters or leaves the pool and becomes the path of least resistance to ground, they should all be up to the same potential as the outlet strip and no one should get shocked. does that sound right? kind of like the guys who equilize their potential when working on high voltage power lines.

not to say it isn't extremely dangerous. a small hole in the pool or weak spot in the plastic and you could be toast. you're basically betting your life on a 4 mil piece of plastic pool liner.

I got this picture in my mailbox last summer from a friend in Finland, which i sent along to my contacts... So the plug is European. The pic most probably comes from Scandinavia... ??

Could be. They look like Northern Europeans in the summer, two-tone: Pasty white and sunburn. :D
