Operating without a thermostat?

The Fram oil filter comes up as the first filter showing. looks to be a search link?
I used the Fram PH3593A For many Yrs.. But they ended up hard to get. Walmart was only a couple miles and used the Generic Fredicks/Hoye back then. Seen one on another Tractor pic. from the Dealer online. It wasn't solid white and I could see the Orange/Blk color next to the White side cover!! He gladly gave it to me the Filter#
been using the Generic Napa. for a few Yrs. and pretty much the same. 50 Hrs. Oil/Filter change average,
