Kubota utility vehicle Rtv900
Hello,

My name is Ron and live on a farm in Victoria Australia.

Last week we purchased a new Kubota RTV900xt utility vehicle and there is fairly loud swish, swish sound continually eminating from the front,a noise that worries me and when I spoke to the dealer by telephone about this noise he could not offer any explanation as to what It may be.

Has anyone else heard a similar noise when driving this machine at 20mph?

Kindest regards,

Ron

I have never experienced it. I have a Kubota L4400. Could it possibly be a pin hole leak in the radiator hose? Just quessing and drawing straws. Good Luck.:tractor: By the way, WELCOME.

Never noticed it on mine, can you drive another one at the dealer or have them come and listen to yours ? Or are you days into the outback ?

I have a RTV900 and never heard a noise like that either. Since everything mechnicanical is, for the most part, behind the cab the noise has to be coming from the front axel. Have you checked the fluid level in the front axel?

Does it make the noise when turning the steering wheel? The RTV does have hydrostatic power steering (no shaft to gear box with drag link, just hoses to a cylinder on axle).
