I noticed your rear tires. I have been looking for something similar for my b2630. Who makes them? How do like them?
Thanks

I LOVE them, they are known as the bar/turf tire option for the B-series tractor. The rear tires are Goodyear Terra Tire Xtra Tracs in 31x15.50-15 and the front are Firestone Turf & Field in 21x8.00-10 size. I bought the tractor with R4 tires and they gouged up my lawn every time I turned. I traded them in at a loss and paid extra for these. They are one of the tire options on the standard B-series tractors. My salesman said that in his 20 years he has only sold perhaps five B-series with this tire option.

Unfortunately, I had a look at the B2630 model configurator on Kubota's website and it appears that these are not available for that model. It looks like just regular turf tires are available for it.

Nice set-up and installation work:)

The weight of the grapple at 357 lbs isn't probably that much more then my bucket & grapple set-up.

I bought a Tatro bucket grapple for $400 http://www.tatrosite.com/
and a WR Long valve kit ($600) Valve Kits for my B7800 a few year ago.

For a $1000 total it has been a great investment for me as I use it often for moving the maple trees I fell for firewood. I can lift entire huge trees so long as I have a my snowblower or box blade on the back of my tractor.

Very nice! Can anyone point me to post with directions for installing the W. R. Long elect over hydraulic valve kit or the selector valve kit? I'm interested in a bolt on grapple for my LA 724 loader but and leary as to whether I can handle the install.

I got a quote the other day of 519.00 for the Elect/Hydro
and 254 for the Selector valve, this was from Carver Equipement in N.C.

I bought my WR Long valve kit from Carver as well. I don't think you will have a problem installing everything since I didn't and I am not overly technically inclined.

Here is the link I started with but I did have a 24" long by 1" deep steel plate welded to the bucket. The grapple mounted to that.

I've got the same tires and they fit my uses perfectly. Nice grapple!

EtW, what pressures do you keep in your tires? I have the fronts at 24 PSI, the max listed on the sidewall, and the rears are water filled and I have them at 10 PSI. I find that even at the maximum sidewall pressure, the fronts tend to squirm a bit with the grapple and a full load of brush. I'm debating bumping them up to 28 PSI or so and wanted to see what your experience has been with the pressure and performance of your front tires.

Mine are not loaded. At delivery, the driver told me the tires were overinflated to set the beads. I checked them and they were at or near the max pressure listed on the sidewall.

Thanks for the info. I just can't stand paying over $1,000 from the dealer to install the remote. I just had them do my 50hour service and it's running me 425.00 Ouch!!!
