For small stuff, deere or jeep have pto. Bigger not sure, one dozer has a pto. Will see

update on the old case “rescue.”
In brief:
Free if u can get it out=case 310 w backhoe, sat 26 yrs
Ether, jumpbox and a prayer
Drove it out and onto trailer . The PO was 10y/o when his dad parked it. He was surprised
to say the least!
Got some blow-by but plenty of power
Ran it 10 hrs straight this weekend digging 150’x48” very rocky waterline
I’m still burning the original 26y/o diesel fuel, probably have to fuel it up tomorrow

Agreed. Most seals in hydraulics go bad in 15-20 years just due to age. Much less still operating on the decades old diesel fuel.

Did you change the oil in the engine?

yes, oil and filter
I have a few leaking seals (most of them!)
I have fixed one, I will work on others at time goes on

It is a mechanical device that requires less effort to smash your finger than swinging a hammer!

Does your Mill have variable self feed ? Id feel right at home running that shop. Ive used a Bridgeport and the lathe with hydraulic feed... Love machining parts.

The abene= for z you would power feed via table (not quill or head)
Swi bed mills= power for z by moving entire head. There maybe a quill feed also but I don’t use it

Sorry d, Didn稚 mean to be cryptic. Z is axis or the feed up and down
(X is left-right, y in-out)

The mills have power feed on all axis-ie throw a switch and it will cut automatically.

On z axis -The mills can operate like a big drill press or entire head or bed can move up/down under power

Variable with rapid traverse (double speed) on all axis (sorry sono, thought u were just asking about z)

thanks, that sounds like fun. So power traverse, not spinning wheel around on x, y and z axis.
Always liked the precision of this skill, and never tried it. Instead I do a little woodworking and build birdhouses.

what a dream shop you have. I can't wait to see what treasure you bring home next.

New jeep haul (Doesn稚 look like much but some rare stuff)
Factory hard Cab/doors (rust free and good glass)
2 stick pto (pto to front and rear, an upgrade for my rear only setup)
Tranny w accessory overdrive, maybe I will hit 60mph now!
Complete Stratton lift 3point lift. This lift sits under the jeep and thus keeps the bed free. Rare
Plow and front winch

Should make the Willy痴 even more fun!

Bought this over sxs or kubota alternative
Better for me, same size as neighbor痴 rtv1100 but better off and on road. Pto, (now 3pt hitch) plow, winch etc

I use trailer for gravel and rocks/ dumping as I never liked loading my gator w a front loader. I prefer to use the beater trailer!

Jeep bed =I don稚 use a back seat so it is similar size to his rtv and fine for my fire wood, chain saws, gas tanks etc.

I don稚 baby equipment but i tend to have a lot of rock projects. Loading and dumping rock
=I would wince too much in anything fancy!)


(Jeep was also 1/3 of the price)
