Ugh, this contact was much harder. The 2 contacts across the bridge connector was “welded” shut on both sides.

I couldn’t get heat in there to separate. So I used an 1/8 mill to cut thought the back of the contacts so I could slide them out. Of course this ruins the contacts on the tabs so 2 new contacts cut with shoulder to solder in and back together. Continuity indicates function so I will test later

Cammo, here is order minus shipping and tax 1500$ plus about 100$ tax and 80$ ship

3 phase 20 hp, 80 amp circuit with a 30 hp rotary converter.

They were “beyond” so I made new.

Main motor is good, now to reinstall table controls

Chances are that you have checked, but have you looked at places like Radwell? They buy a lot of NOS industrial surplus controls and resell them at a substantial savings. I know our company has sold them many pallet loads of controls, all new in the box, they have just been sitting on the shelf for 10-15 years, collecting dust.

Ok, after I felt a bit better today, I tackled a quick project.

The new 44 mag pump rifle has an integral weaver rail and I order a red dot for it. Well it didn’t fit as it was a picatinny style. So I dug though my junk and found a weaver ring. Put it in the shaper (bored, felt like taking it slow and didn’t want excessive noise)

Took 0.200 cuts with rougher and it still had a mirror finish (I tried to demonstrate the reflection of a screwdriver)

Drill, tap and mount.
Now to sight in tomorrow

I had a brief amount of energy today.

Tuned up the swing saw mill
Cut some 1/16 x6” pine to true it up and then loaded up some oak to cut

And now, I’m done for day (health and age are fighting me)

Typically I use the forks on the Deere but I am now using the ex more and more for tasks like this. More precise and easier on machine
