Sorry to see that you're having such problems. Kioti tractors are really good machines. I believe 90%+ of the problems are Dealer's lousy assembly and PDI. I had 2 problems with my tractor right out of the gate, and they were both directly caused by Dealer assembly screw ups. Since those repairs, I have almost 500 hours of trouble free operation.
Have you checked the loader and 3rd function hose connections at the quick connects located on the bracket forward of the FWD/REV pedals? You can see them in the pic. Maybe not fully seated and/or wrong hoses connected together?
Also, there's a box under the step that houses the electronics and valves for the 3rd function. When you turn the key, do you hear the solenoids 'clicking'? If not, do you hear them when you push either of the the buttons?
I think your root problem is being caused by the 3rd function install fiasco. I would arrange to get the tractor to your local dealer and pay him to inspect that and confirm it is or isn't correct. I believe it is tapped into the wrong port, reversed, or some other screw up that may be dead heading the hydraulic/Hydrostat system. The hydraulic leak might have been from hydro fluid overheat bubbling out vent?
Good luck.

Don’t run it until you get this sorted out. Is the 4wd a mechanical lever or push button/ switch?
I’ll dig around and try and get a hydraulic schematic of your tractor. I agree you are probably dead headed and your fluid is boiling hot. Explains loss of power and that it is not holding in 4wd if the 4wd is electro / hydraulic which I think it is.
I’m slammed most of today. I’ll pm you my phone number feel free to give me a shout and I’ll walk you through what I can

Be really nice to know which 3rd function was installed also.

Kioti's are junk and their customer service is idiots who won't do nothing for you. Should have spent the extra money and bought a Kubota. I buy and sell tractors. I bought one Kioti and it was new with no hours on it with a broken transmission case. I bought it at a insurance auction. The reason the transmission case was broken was because none of the bolts on the loader brackets had lock tight on them and they use cheap bolts. Kioti customer service was a joke. I spent many days going through this tractor to make it a dependable tractor for the customer i sold it to. The owners manual said all bolts must be checked for tightness before every use.

Starting a brand war is not going to help the OP.

I agree with 34willys and Dusty to get your tractor inspected by a competent dealer asap. Also, post up your location so TBN-ers near you can help. Do not run the tractor unless it's going on a trailer.

Tractors and hydraulics can be so much fun and so rewarding, or the cause of much confusion and hair puling.
One issue that I see quite often is the talk of 3rd function or diverter valve installs.
For some reason many people seem to think the 3rd function valves are better then diverter valves.
Then many can not explain the difference between them.
Below is the schematic for a Kioti hydraulic system, this is for a CK model so likely a bit different then your CX series.

This is a 3rd function device, it has electrical solenoids on each end, it will require two switches to function. One switch will send all the flow to the "A" port as long as the switch is active, the other switch will send all the fluid to the "B" port as long as the switch is active. When either solenoid is active all the flow that reaches the valve will be sent to the selected port with no flow beyound the valve.

Then this is a diverter valve;

This is normally plumbed in after a control valve (often a loader curl function) it has one solenoid that diverts a flow when activated. The flow and operation is still controlled by that valve.

In my opinion a diverter is a better and smoother device to use as your control valve controls how fast the hydraulics respond, you can modulate the output the same as you do with your valves other function. You can gently open or close with no slamming or banging.

A 3rd function is either on (open) or off (closed) it does not have an modulation, the only way to control the flow is with restrictors or other external devices. Any excess flow has to be dumped by a relief valve activating.

Here's the 2 buttons on the joystick that they said were On and Off.
Ok, if your observations are accurate and your tractor has lost power after this installation, there are several things your install did not take into account. 1. Is pressure set correctly for implement.
2. Is flow coming from a power beyond.
3. Is there a diverter valve in the flow line
4. Is spooling at the valve closing or is it always open
5. Are you getting any whining from your hydraulic pump demonstrating a flow blockage or. Over working pressure.
6. Did they use a valve compatible with your tractor for the implement.
We use WR Long valves exclusively as they are applicable to our Lane Shark installs as well.

Something is blocking or diverting flow if it is affecting the entire tractor.
Make sure there is no debris within your unions.
You may also have a bad union.

Ok, have you actually used the 3rd function with anything? Do you know if it works at all? I (like others here) am thinking they didn’t tie the new stuff in at the right places on your tractor. Where does the hydraulic line from P on the new valve go to ?
I also would stop using it until you find the fix.

Gee, i guess the nearly 2000 hours i have on my trouble free unit must be a fluke.

It sounds as if you have two problems:
1. Error in 3rd function valve installation.
2. Dealers who are too small to have experienced mechanics available. It is probably a waste of money to have them do any more work.

Kioti won't want to help with a problem caused by an incorrect valve install - You are probably going to have to fix that yourself, unless it was a Kioti original valve.
1. Find out the manufacturer and model of the valve. Call them and ask to have the complete install instructions sent to you. Do they have a video of the correct installation of the valve? Does the valve installation involve removal of an original Kioti part? Did the dealer give that part to you with the tractor? If not, call him and get the part before he throws it away. (You will probably have to drive and pick it up yourself.)
2. After you have looked at the instructions and the valve you have, do you see anything wrong or different about the installation? Take pictures of the installation.
3. After you are familiar with what you have, call the valve manufacturer back, tell them you have an install problem and ask to be referred to their customer service department to get help. Kioti is a fairly common brand and the valve manufacturer's service department will know what is likely to go wrong and how to fix it. If you have looked at their instructions and your installation, you will be able to describe it and send them pictures if they want to see them. The service department will be able to tell you if the valve installed fits your tractor and if any additional parts are required to fit your tractor. Hopefully you will be able to fix it yourself. If the valve manufacturer tells you he thinks the valve is correctly installed and the problem is in the tractor, you will have to take the whole valve off and replace any original parts removed to find out if the tractor runs correctly once the valve is off.
Be polite when talking the valve manufacturer and Kioti. They did not cause the problem, it was caused by a mechanic who did not understand what to do That is not their fault. You want to make them like you enough to want to help.
Both dealers you have dealt with are too small to have skilled mechanics . You may have to call a bigger dealer and talk to their service department to get good help. Also , ask the valve manufacturer if they know of someone in your area who knows their product and can look at the tractor for you if you need it.

If it came with the Joystick w/ the buttons, pretty sure it was the Kioti kit.

The valve is installed under the right step.

No, my wr long came with a replacement grip for the joystice with 2 buttons. There was one pipe fitting that is eliminated in my install. Had to remove seat to get to it.
