Massey regen issue

I have an 85 yr old neighbor who asked me for help. Said his tractor would not keep running. It is a 2016 Massey 1739E. The regen light flashes and beeps. I realize the exhaust filter is clogged as he would shut it down as soon as it tried to go in to regen. I called the local dealer , 120 miles away. The mechanic said replace the fuel filter. Was a joke but I did anyway , no change. I wrote Massey USA . said they would get back to me , That was two months ago . Anyone have any fixes? Would really help this old feller. My tractors are all pre emissions crap so I have little experience here.

Not sure about MF, but my Kubota would require dealer intervention via a computer interface to deal with that.
Even though it's possible, I have NEVER interrupted or delayed a Regen to avoid dpf limp mode issues.
Perhaps there's a manual forced Regen procedure in the manual?

Here is a link that describes a manual regen on my 1736. It might be worth a try, pay attention for how long you have to hold the button (like 10 seconds).
