New J.D. Owner

Just bought a used John Deere D130 for mowing rough native grass. Only owned one other rider in the past, a Murray that I used for similar tasks. Had great results because a wise gentleman told me it would be fine if I just serviced it properly which I did. The JD tractor that I bought shows 120 hours of use on the engine and I paid $750. Deal OK?
Manual says current fuel sold is OK as long as the ethanol percentage is 10% or less. Agree? Thanks for any comments.

Sounds like a lovely deal. If you don't know the service history of the D130, I'd run a 50hr oil change & grease routine just to be sure. Your manual will describe it &, if you're unsure of the parts/oil, your JD dealership have a 'kit' that includes everything you could possibly need (aside from the tools, filter wrench, oil pan).
