Daughter's closet. This is the biggest closet in the house. Wasn't originally planned that way, but when we made some floorplan changes during construction, she benefitted with the larger clsoet. My guess is that when she is a teenager, there will still not be enough room for her clothes (and she'll still not be able to find anything to wear).

The last picture is for Eddie. He once said that he knows that the end is near once some concrete has been poured. This is how far 48 yds of concrete went for us. For now, we'll extend the gravel drive to the concrete you see here.
Met with landscaper on Friday. Looks like we'll have to scrap most of the sod and plant seed over the vast majority of the lawn. Limited number shrubs, trees, etc. This and the abbreviated concrete all due to budget overruns elsewhere. However, we can add more concrete later and I can plant shrubs, trees and flowers. We can also sod the rest of the yard in sections, if we want. I've done before.
I'm thinking that there isn't really much more to photograph. We hope to have a CO late next week so I'll probably do a photo recap of everything once it has been cleaned up and before we trash again the place moving in.

Thanks Bmac! What I like about the closets is ow they are "suspended" ont he walls, nothing goes down to the floor. That is very nice. Leaves all the floor space pen and available.
Looking forward to the final tour photos, waiting to see how the fireplace came out, plus some zoom out photos of the kitchen. The stove looks awsome! Bet you could have finished the driveway in cement, oh probably added the circle drive as well, for the cost of that stove! Trim for the hood vent came out super.
On your last photo, the one with cement drying, I couldn't see the rooster, /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif sigh...

Wow, I can't say it often enough, that is one extraordinary house. It has a sense of class and tradition, and yet still feels so friendly. Just Marvelous.
It's only about 1,500 miles from here. Maybe I'll stop by on the way to the store for a quick walk though. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Mantle hasn't been done yet. We've given the trim guy a photo to work from. However, he wants to wait until the cabinet man builds the doors that will hide the tv over the fireplace before the mantle is built.
I know you've been waiting patiently to see the mantle. It will be rather simple in design. I hope you're not disappointed.

Well, the stove was not cheap. But, once again, I have to give my wife credit for saving us some big bucks on it. First, it is a GE brand which cost alot less than the Dacor, Viking, etc. And, she bought it through a place that has an arrangement with her company so she got a good discount compared to what the stores sell them for. So, compared to a regular stove, yes it was more expensive. But, what we paid would not have given us too much more concrete.
