New Guy, Lower NY

Hello all,
I figured I'd sign up here. I have a '72 IH Cub Cadet 149. I am interested in just about any machine though. I have chainsaws, lawn mower, generator, an older I/O boat, a couple cars, a pickup, and a 1970 F350 project. I live in the Lower Hudson Valley of NY. I spend my time messing with my old truck and tractor, maintaining the house, property, and vehicles, and maintaining a wood supply for heating the house. I support all my hobbies by working as a stagehand in NYC.

I know your area well. Very nice town. I used to live in Yonkers before moving to Rockland about 12 years ago. If this market ever turns around, I plan on moving back to Upper Westchester or maybe Putnam. Most of my family live around that area, so it always felt more like home.

I grew up on the other side of the county in Somers, but this side feels like home now. Only problem with Northern Westchester is that it cost so much to live here, but it is a pretty nice place to live.
