I think you will love the tractor, I have the 2410, and 08 model. I have about 400 hours so far and I can tell say I love the tractor. Sometimes I do wish it had more lifting capacity or I could dig faster with the backhoe, but then I think this is paid for and it is a lot faster than a shovel. Last week I got a phone call from a neighbor, she had a horse die. It took about 2 hours to dig a hole 5.5 ft deep to fit the horse, big hole. The ground was partially frozen, I live in upstate NY, and about 3ft down I hit hard clay and shale. The backhoe did not miss a beat. I also have a 54" rear mount snow blower, 48" tiller, 60" mmm, 48" brush hog, 60" york rake, 48" box blade, and some clamp on forks for my loader(these are very useful). The r-4 tires are fine on lawns and more durable in the woods, in the winter I put tire chains on all 4 tires and it is like night and day traction wise(improved steering, negotiating hills). I find it unnecessary to run the tractor in the at 2500-2600 for most mowing 2000 is just fine and it uses less fuel. Did I mention the fuel?, The old tractor 16hp gasoline garden tractor used more than twice the fuel as the massey, love it. Keep your reports coming, congrats on the tractor1:thumbsup:
