No that was at flat idle my RPM\PTO gauge is working but missing the needle I need to order a new one just haven't had the extra cash so I didn't want to rev the engine and not know what RPM I was at. I think that speed will work for me if it will give me enough pressure. I can stand a little slower speed and use a 4 way wedge if it will push the wood through. I am going to try pushing the piece first and then the wedge to see which works best but I am betting a stationary wedge will be much better. After i find out for sure then i will know where and what design of work table and log stabilizers I will need.
Since your pump is positive displacement the engine speed doesn't affect the pressure but only volume. The cylinder stroke time is directly proportional to engine speed.
