Well my new MT235e should be getting delivered today or tomorrow. With that came cleaning of our garage, we moved into this house 3 years ago in April I had to move my 2 car garage and 10x12 shed into my new 20x30 2 car garage. Well space has been tight and I haven't organized a thing due to all the home improvement work I have been doing. I was able to get out in the garage the last couple days and get a space cleared for the tractor but holy did I have a lot of junk that I didn't need to move.

If I were to give anyone some advice, buy a large dumpster when/if you move. If it is broke throw it out and if you haven't used it in over a year or 2 throw it out (with exception of guns or tools).

Ain't a'gonna be tall 'nuff as fer as I kin see. Clearance at the door will need to be fairly close to 8' to get it in with the bar up.

Windows are nice in a shop, but you sure do lose a lot of storage area by having them.

Go back to the drawing board and build the biggest garage / shop you can afford. It won't be big enough. Over time you'll fill it.

Yep, what he said! We did a 2 level, 5 bay addition to our house that had a 2 bay garage. So with 7 bays and the new 5 bays at 38' depth.... we are now completely out of space! 10 years ago when this was being done it felt silly to build this addition! But now, I am thinking about adding a separated 4 bay building to augment my 7 bays! You'll always find more cars, trucks, equipment and stuff to fill up whatever "too large" of building that you put up.

great thinking about the dumpster and throwing stuff out, but really sounds like you need some racking. you can make your own lofts out of wood, but Unistrut steel works better to get stuff off the floor. then racks around the edges will give you a lot of storage.

sounds like you'll need to build a big shop for that new tractor though so can you put one up or a lien to?

good luck

All the talk about racking and storage space and organization isn't really the main issue.

Dimensions

Overall length, Frame to link (in.): 121
Wheelbase (in.): 69
Overall width tires (in.): 54
Height to top of ROPS (in.): 88

If he doesn't have 90 inches at the very minimum, he ain't gettin' under that door with the bar up.

Yep.....by definition.....there is no such thing as a garage too big!

Diggin: I think he already knows his tractor is too big for his existing garage and I was just trying to help him organize his stuff while so he can use the stuff he has while he either builds a temp carport or big shop or just puts a tarp on his tractor.
