PTO Slip Clutch Sale
Mine mower slip clutch look more on this order but a replacement was more like $130 at TSC and was going to require fitting to mate to the old PTO drive due to the way the OEM drive was set up.
$20 and a little labor made it new again when I learned you can buy the new discs and they are simple to rebuild.
Bush hogging after dark in two year old growth is not smart. The trash I smelt burning was in fact my PTO clutch burning out.
I kept adjusting it so it would engage without slipping by making marks but that in use that it would slip from time to time.
I was told they are required at 7' because shear pins would fail too often. Clearly that cost the builders more than a soft bolt.
