Congratulations. A fellow around here has a 60 all repainted. It sure is a sharp looking tractor, I think it can be seen in the Youtube video below. We will need some pictures of yours.

Yep, my dad and I got a cockshutt/oliver 60 to restore to factory fresh condition over the winter.

For some reason one of its past owners painted over the cockshutt paint and decals with oliver green.... I will try and put up a picture sometime.

By the shape of the steering wheel, I would say it's a John Deere forklift.

Good eye with the steering wheel but it's a backwards ford tractor. Behind the mast the axel has a plate covering where the pto shaft would be and you can see where the three point arms would mount in the castings. But I'm trying to figure out what model ford it is

The model code D40 21 F is a 4000 Utility, gas engine, no PTO, 4-speed power reverser transmission with torque converter. The unit number looks like a date code for Day Shift on September 12, 1968.
