Kubota B6100E Kubota L 2501 Kubota T1460
This is my beautiful wife standing next to a beautiful tractor that has less than 150 hrs on it.
It was sitting in the local kubota showroom.
I thought maybe some of you guys had owned this model tractor might like seeing it.
Too bad it doesn’t have the mower deck.
Assuming it could have had one

That’s a snazzy looking tractor. TD says 1976-1985. Cool!

I had one with a loader. It did not look anywhere near as good as that one. And it had about 2500 hours on it. I sold it to a mechanic at the dealer where I bought the BX23s. My wife has a B6100.

My wife's B6100 started leaking coolant at the front of engine. I found the leak to be from the Dinamo mount. After 55 years the aluminum base corroded. Not an easy to replace part.

Had more or less the same thing happening on a B7000. Machined a new aluminium fitting and had it welded. Worked alright but was tricky to weld for sure.

Here's my 1978 B7100DT that I bought new, it has around 1200 hrs now. I leave my box blade on always, because of my arthritic spine I quit using my Woods RM48 and bought a zero turn mower.

I also use it for moving trailers. I put hydraulics on it so I can dump my CMI 4'x8' dump trailer. Once I had hydraulics on it I added on hydraulic top link for the box blade.

I also have 3pt forks, 12" single bottom plow and a 5' rear blade.

Over the years I've had 5 people that wanted to buy it. In the early 80's a couple of people would have given me $5k for it. I was lucky when I bought it my boss/owner of company was good friends with the tractor dealer and got me $500 off on the tractor, a lot of money then.
