Bill,

You better check out your keyboard -- it appears as though your CAPS LOCK key is stuck. You wouldn't want anyone to think that you are SHOUTING at us now would you? /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Dave, you know how excited these new tractor owners get./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

And congratulations, Billman, that's a nice rig. And welcome to the forum.

I kind of interpreted it as him walking to his front door, putting both hands to his mouth and trying to yell in his loudest voice for all the world to hear....

Sorry guys typing is not my strong point. By the way , I am excited and feel like YELLING. How's this for a good friday? Off work, deer hunting in the morning , and picking my tractor up in the afternoon. My dealer has been a great help and earned their money. (Finch Services Hanover,PA)

Way to go, Billman. I felt like shouting (and dancing) when I got my new B7500 recently!

I got a quote today on the very same tractor. What can I expect to be a good price for one. Am I limited to 48 inch tillers, bushhogs, finish mowers, and box scrapers? Do you lose much power, as I have heard, with the Hydro tranny?

Westbilly, how much power do you lose with an automatic transmission in a car?/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif I've heard of losing 10% to 15% power with the hydro tranny, but if you can still spin the wheels (and you can), what are you going to do with the additional power? Of course, anything can be underpowered for some purposes, but generally speaking, these compact tractors run out of traction before they run out of power.

You can go 60" with a finish mower and maybe 72". I use a 4' rotary cutter on my B7500 and the size is a good fit since the tractor handles it really well.
Many here use 60-72" rear blades here without any problems.

The 20hp = 48" implement is not a law just a guideline.

I use a Woods 6000 RD (5ft) finish mower and a 4 ft Howse brush hog both work well.
