We always referred to the Honda Dream as a nightmare.

Just kidding, that's a very nice job you've done there.
My first bike was a Honda 72 SL 125. I rode the wheels off of that thing and apparently it wasn't as tough as me. So many problems, I switched to Yamaha. Bought a 76 RD 400. Man did I have fun outrunning all the Honda XL 350's in town that thought they were bad to the bone.
Anyhow, you meet the nicest people on a Yamaha (was their slogan). Over the years I had many. Even the first R1 that came to Austin back in 98.
I had 3 kids late in life so I don't have many toys anymore. I'm down to an XT 600 that hasn't been on the roads since '07. I do ride it occasionally around the property.
My best friends felt sorry for me recently and asked if I knew which side the clutch lever was on. Anyway one of them said to meet him at his mom's garage in a half an hour. He brought an extra bike over there for me to ride. I was in Heaven on earth.
We went on a spirited ride for about 20 miles on country roads. Then he made me trade off begrudgingly and forced me to ride this.
We rode back to town and another buddy forced me to go ride his new bike. He really had to twist my arm.
All in all, not too shabby of a day.
Hey Mace, do you still wish you had that Norton? Have you seen the new one's?
