Untill you smack yer drunk head on it...

I remember hitting my head twice when I first put the canopy on my tractor. After that, i remembered it was there, with or without beer(s)!

Subscribed for great ideas. (Sorry to dredge up older threads but this one is just such a good idea)

I cannot believe the prices the companies charge for a canopy. The Mahindra is a fiberglass shell, two pieces of square stock, two pieces of flat stock, 4 u-bolts and 8 other bolts. $40 - $50 is OK with me. Off to search for golf cart parts!

Funny, Luke is from TX and moved to NH to get out of the heat. I'm from NH and moved to TX to get out of the snow!

"To each there own" I guess. :drink:

Glad this thread might be useful.

Sent out messages to a few local golf cart places but none are responding. Hmmm... I'll have to drive to them and ask in person I guess.

In the meantime, I am one bolt away from making my own personal T post driver. Manufacturer & Wholesale Dealer for T Post Drivers (Farm & Ranch) (metal 1,25 per foot tee posts for Snow fence, Beach fencing, Coastal, Barrier, Erosion fence, Dune fence) ( hydraulic press in posts ) Tractor Loader Bucket Tool automaticlly presses, American Made I put in my 220 outlet this past weekend and can weld again. I'll make a DIY thread for this with plenty of pics. So far, I've got $48 invested in it.

Nice work Luke! Looks like it was made for your tractor. :thumbsup:Did you fab the brackets/supports yourself?

Thanks! Yes, those are my crappy welds. Finally painted them gray this spring.

Luke, I took your advice and went to a local golf cart place on a whim. I picked up this Yamaha top. They swapped it for a case of Miller Lite cans! I've got almost everything I need with less than $60 into it thus far and only need to buy four U-bolts. I'll get pics of the build for y'all.
