Mower deck noise

Hey guys, I've had my bx 2670 for two years and when I first got it the deck wouldn't raise enough to lock it. I read here and ended up adjusting the lift rod on the rear left. Anyway weather the deck is locked up or set for mowing anytime I hit bumps the deck makes kind of a banging noise.
Almost like it's bouncing around but it's worse with the loader on. Is it normal or does anyone else have the same thing? Thanks, Dan

When mines locked in the Top spot, it will bang going over bumps. Sometimes it will help if I try lower the 3pt a little after lifting it up all the way and locking it.
However, mine does not bang when it's in a lower mowing position. Sounds like something's wrong there.

Mine bangs in the top spot too (BX25D) 60 mower. I lower it a tad and it stops.

My BX2200 with the 60" MMM does the same thing raised to the top. Well it did until I solved it. I went to the local hardware store, got a large rubber stopper from the fastener isle, and got some rubber cement and glued it onto where my deck was banging. Solved my deck banging issue for less than 2 bucks.

Well I finally got the time to check it out, the deck wasn't raising quite enough to hit the stops. Now when it's locked in the up position no more banging. I like the idea about the rubber, if it comes back I'll probably go that route. Thanks, Dan

 

[BX23S-1]

Does the BX23s have the same MMM as the BX2670...??? My BX23s mower bangs over bumps, and my place is nothing but bumps everywhere. I looked things over, i dont see any type of locking system to lock my deck. I might put some rubber bumpstops in there kind of like Diesel85 did, unless somebody can tell me how to lock the deck in the upper locking range. (???)
