Mc cormack lift

Hi anyone able help here. Was trying ploughing with a 100 hp mc cormack yesterday lift was either up or down no matter where tried set dials and the contr in back corner sat at 5 no matter what you moved also the plough would not turn if lift full up but ok if lift down a bit
