Ls Mt 125 overheating

I just bought a MT 125 and after about 9 hours on it it started having a heating issue. I may have overworked it but thought the hours were mighty low to be having any kind of issue for a brand new tractor. I leveld a drive way (best I can) mowed some with the belly mower, then took it off and mowed some in a field. That's when it started having problems. The field is pretty big but I was not mowing thr whole thing, but some places were really thick and I uprooted some trees that started growing years ago as this field we hunt and it hasn't been used for planting in years. Thoughts anyone?

Clean the radiator and radiator screens.

Those get clogged really quickly, especially in taller, dry grass.

Brush hogging with a belly mower can also heat it up; best to do it with the mower raised up, and then slowly lower it in successive mows.

Pop the hood. There's a lift out screen between the radiator and the dash. That gets clogged with chaff really quickly and may need to be cleaned a few times during mowing.

If you're using a rear cutter, tell us how big. Anything over 4 foot could be a problem.

It's a 4' cutter. I didn't know of any other screen, I'll check that the first chance I get. Thanks.
